    I have one query regarding cable laying order in vertical cable tray stack.

    As per API RP 552 IN VERTICAL STACK of cable trays, signal wiring should be on top tray and high voltage feeder tray on bottom most but as per IEEE 525/ 422 this shall be in reverse order i.e. high voltage cables would be in top tray and signal cables are in bottom most tray. (in both the cases distance between trays are same but only order is changed)

    kindly suggest which standard shall be followed and why.

      Thanks for your question. In this case ISA Standards don’t cover the issue you brought up. You would do better to contact either API or IEEE directly.

    Hi, I have to specify a seismic vibration sensor and I am not sure if there exists a standard ISA datasheet for that type of sensor. I found a DS for velocity sensor but I was not able to find one for seismic.
    Could somebody help with this?
